Exhaust back off in 3 minutes! I've wire brushed, I've ground the rust off, I've sprayed bits toyota silver (I have no vauxhall blue), and I've painted the underneath in waxoyl and put it all back together with no blood this time! Just think, it could always be worse ;) Glad you got the car sorted though. Maybe in around 10 years and after several oil/spare part changes you might even come to love the Astra as you did it's predecessor.
