Update!
Blame the onset of Winter, dark mornings, dreary days and dark nights…..but something has knocked me flat on my arse of late. I get home from work, and as the time hits 5.45-6pm I just start to ache and my energy level bottoms out, then my “can’t be arsed” tiredness just takes over. Hence, I’ve been quiet of late.
However, I/we are still very much alive and kicking. We have Internet (2meg!), and things are getting back to normal in the sense of communications pathways. Phone? Check. ‘Net? Check. E-Mail? Check. Mobile? You’re having a laugh. Digital TV? Stop it, you’re killing me!!
Ah well. Minor niggles. The rain is here, the river is rising near to the road…we’re fine - quite a distance away and in a first floor flat, but I pity the householders on the road next to the river..one guy almost had it in his back garden earlier. Satnav is on standby if the roads become impassible this winter….
We’ve even been for a walk round Ironbridge today looking at the shops…there’s a rather fun “Curio Centre” that I liked…a bric-a-brac shop, basically. Nice array of suitably distressed walking sticks..including a nice blackish one with a silver knob on the end. Tempting. Always wanted a silver knob…heh.
There is a GREAT old style sweetie shop though….
Didn’t realise you were in Telford Karl. (Or forgot! :P) We’re over there a few times a year from sunny Wales. Still wowing at your sch website - tho it looked funny this week - the front page story wraps off screen in FF.
