bah.
I appear to be ill. I felt queasy when I woke up, but went to work thinking “wind”. Throughout the day, I’ve been having worse and worse “stabbing” muscular twinges..first from my legs (not unusual), then up and now I have a head ache..not a headache - a HEAD ACHE, as in my entire skull.
This is accompanied by mild dizziness, woolly headedness, instability in my feet and random stabs of pain/sharp aches from random body parts. The worst bit though is the intense COLD…thermometer says warm, but I’ve been shivering and chattering through my teeth all night. Lying on the sofa with a blanket and radiator next to me worked..for a bit. Then my bladder started to act up, and when I got to the bathroom I was ICY cold.
Hands and arms shaking, teeth chattering, hard to speak..the works. Even though common sense says it’s NOTHING LIKE as cold as all that. I’ve worked through it, even through a fire drill that hurt to walk to, and was murder to stand in freezing. I HATE being ill. However, wooliness apart, I feel mentally great. Odd that.
Now, I have a mini-rant…Electronics Giant Maplin.
I ordered some parts from them a couple of weeks back…I got HALF my order today. I deliberatly waited until they had plentiful stock of all the components I wanted before I placed the order, and even though they’re pretty local and usually pretty good, I only got the package today. However, I’m LIVID that the connectors and relay are on “back order”..there were 200+ in stock when I ordered the parts..so how could 200+ relays walk between me picking them and clicking “complete purchase”?
Muppets. Luckily it’s not essential..it’s for a car immobiliser I’m building.
