Speeding

Oh, BOO fucking HOO.. Excuse me while I don’t feel sympathy.
Speeding is speeding. 10MPH or 100MPH, it’s no different. Speeds are shown on signs, and failing that, common sense and streetlights usually suggest the speed for travel.
If you speed, you get caught. Simple as. Whinge and moan if you wish, but if you’d been driving with any degree of intelligence or concentration, you wouldn’t have been doing the speed to trigger the camera.
I’ve never been had for speeding. I have been had for driving 5mph under the limit, on an icy night, going from a 40MPH zone to the 30MPH zone. Yes, stopped for 35MPH in a 40 zone, about 20 metres before the 30MPH zone began. In bad conditions. I got off with a simple “Goodnight Sir“, and while it annoyed me, I am happy that I was driving within the law, or safer than the law dictates in that zone.
You want to complain about your speed fine? Explain it when you speed and lose control, and hurt someone. I’m sure nobody will listen.
